Collector's Box
GTA 6 Goodtime State Box: Contents and Game Status
What Rockstar's Goodtime State – Vice City Collection includes, when it arrives, and the crucial detail that GTA 6 is sold separately.
Quick answer: the game is sold separately
Rockstar announced The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection on September 24, 2026. It is a limited collector's box inspired by the fictional Leonida TV show Macca the Gator. Rockstar says the box arrives November 19 and is available for preorder while supplies last. Its announcement explicitly says the Grand Theft Auto VI game is sold separately.
That last sentence is the buying decision. A collectible box and a game edition are different products. If your goal is to play GTA 6, make sure your order includes the game for the platform you own. A Goodtime State order alone will not provide a game license, disc, or download code based on Rockstar's stated contents.
What is inside the collection?
The announced box includes a six-inch Macca the Gator figure with a stash compartment, Oakley Frogskins sunglasses, a New Era snapback, a magnetic mirror, a swizzle spoon, a razor blade keychain, a Leonida Keys crossbody bag, a Chunkee the Manatee shot glass, an enamel pin set, stickers, and a double-sided souvenir poster showing the Leonida landscape.
These are physical collectibles. The poster is the item most likely to interest map followers, but Rockstar has not presented this collector-box listing as a standalone playable map or a promise that every road and activity is revealed. Treat it as a souvenir poster until the company explains the poster's level of detail or the game launches.
How does it differ from GTA 6 editions?
The collection is merchandise connected to GTA VI's world. GTA 6 Standard and Ultimate are game editions. An edition purchase concerns access to the game and its included digital content; the Goodtime State box concerns a separate set of physical objects. Do not compare the box price directly with a game edition as though both grant the same thing.
Before checkout, read the product title, the official contents list, estimated delivery timing, shipping region, taxes, and return policy. Rockstar says further preorder details for Asia, Latin America, and Australia are still to come, so availability in those regions should be checked on the official store rather than assumed from another country's listing.
What remains unknown?
The announcement gives the November 19 arrival date and a while-supplies-last condition. It does not establish a universal stock count or guarantee that every region has the same checkout options. Any resale listing claiming an exclusive game key, early gameplay access, or a complete interactive map needs verification against Rockstar's official product page.
This guide will be revised if Rockstar changes the contents, publishes regional preorder details, or clarifies the poster. For the playable game, use the official GTA VI page or a platform storefront. For the collector's box, use Rockstar's own announcement and store link.
