GTA 6 Leonida Locations: Six Confirmed Places
A fact-checked guide to Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga, with clear limits on map claims.
Which GTA 6 locations are officially named?
Rockstar's “Only in Leonida” showcase names six destinations: Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Kalaga. These are useful confirmed names for a prelaunch guide. They are not a complete inventory of every district, road, town, business, or interior in Grand Theft Auto VI.
Rockstar also publishes official screenshots and postcard artwork grouped by several of these places. That is stronger evidence for a location name than a fan map assembled from trailer frames. A named destination confirms the label; it does not automatically confirm the exact size or position that a community map gives it.
Vice City and the Leonida Keys
Vice City is the neon-centered urban anchor of Rockstar's GTA VI presentation. The game's official synopsis places Jason and Lucia in a criminal conspiracy that stretches across Leonida, so the story is broader than a single city. Rockstar's screenshots identify Vice City as a distinct location rather than using the name for the whole state.
The Leonida Keys are another explicitly named destination. Jason's official profile places him in the Keys working for local drug runners before meeting Lucia, and Brian Heder's profile ties his boatyard and smuggling history to the area. Those character connections give the Keys narrative context. They do not prove a particular mission start point or the route players will take through the islands.
Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, and Ambrosia
Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, and Ambrosia each appear as named stops in Rockstar's Leonida tour. Rockstar's screenshot catalog uses these same labels, which makes them solid entries for a prelaunch location list. The names are confirmed; detailed boundaries, travel times, and activity lists still require more evidence.
Be careful with maps that place these destinations with street-level precision. A screenshot series can help recognize visual themes, but image order and trailer editing are not a reliable coordinate system. The useful prelaunch task is to record official names and source links, then update the guide after more map material or the game itself is available.
Mount Kalaga and the map question
Mount Kalaga is the sixth named destination in Rockstar's tour, with artwork referring to Mount Kalaga National Park. It adds a clearly different region name to a list otherwise dominated by the city, islands, and other named areas. Rockstar has not published a coordinate grid that would justify placing it at an exact point in our guide.
On September 24, Rockstar announced a collector's box with a double-sided Leonida landscape souvenir poster. That is new official map-related material, but the box announcement does not turn fan reconstructions into verified navigation maps. Our interactive field guide uses a schematic arrangement and says so visibly. Use it to learn the six names, not to plan a launch-day route.
